From the heart of the Highlands, The Dalmore’s Luminary series represents a bold exploration of maturation and flavour, born from a unique partnership with the V&A Dundee. Luminary No. 1 begins in American white oak before a distinctive finish in Italian Amarone red wine casks and specially crafted ‘Kintsugi’ casks – a blend of Scottish Tay, Japanese Mizunara, and American white oak – yielding a complex and richly fruited character. Its companion, Luminary No. 2, layers notes of tawny port and sherry with a whisper of rare Dalmore peat, initially matured in American white oak. Together, these single malts offer a captivating taste of Scottish artistry and innovative cask influence.
