Hazelburn 2007 16 Year Old Society Bottling 35cl

From the historic Campbeltown region, once the heart of Scotch whisky production, comes this 16-year-old Hazelburn, distilled in June 2007 and bottled in September 2023. A tribute to the original Hazelburn distillery – where Masataka Taketsuru, a pioneer of Japanese whisky, honed his skills – this expression is uniquely triple distilled and unpeated, resulting in a remarkably light and fruity character. Matured in a Ruby Port cask, it offers a complex profile with notes of red berries and subtle spice at 50.8% ABV. This limited release of only 1610 bottles showcases the elegant spirit of Campbeltown’s revival.
