Distilled at Highland Park, the most northerly distillery in Scotland, this 17-year-old whisky embodies the rugged character of the Orkney Islands. Rooted in a history stretching back to 1798 – and perhaps even earlier with illicit stills – Highland Park draws its distinctive flavour from a unique combination of Sherry cask maturation and locally sourced Orcadian peat. This yields a complex spirit with notes of heathery sweetness alongside rich, dark fruit and subtle smoky undertones. Bottled at 52.9% ABV, it’s a warming expression inspired by the long nights and evocative atmosphere of Orkney’s autumn and winter.
