Born on the windswept Orkney Islands, Highland Park distillery traces its roots back to 1798, emerging from the legacy of illicit stills and a pioneering local farmer. This northernmost Highland distillery masterfully balances Sherry cask maturation – imparting notes of vanilla and warm spice – with the unique, heathery sweetness of Orcadian peat smoke. The result is a richly aromatic single malt, exhibiting a subtly increased smokiness compared to the 12 Year Old expression, yet remaining distinctly Highland Park in character. At 43.1% ABV, it offers a complex and rewarding taste of the Scottish Highlands.
