Kilchoman 2006 Vintage

Kilchoman, Islay’s newest distillery—and potentially its oldest in heritage—began production in 2005, reviving a tradition tracing back to early Scottish distillation in the 1300s. This 2006 vintage spent five years maturing in a carefully selected combination of first-fill Bourbon barrels and Oloroso Sherry butts, imparting a unique character to the spirit. The result is a whisky bottled at 46% ABV, offering a rich profile with notes of sweet spice and fruit alongside the signature Islay peat smoke. Kilchoman maintains complete control over every stage of production, from floor malting to bottling, ensuring a quality expression of Islay terroir.
