Kilchoman 2008 Vintage

Kilchoman, Islay’s newest distillery – and potentially its oldest in heritage – began production in 2005, reviving a tradition tracing back to the 1300s when the MacBeatha family first translated distillation knowledge to the island. This 2008 Vintage spent seven years maturing in bourbon barrels, resulting in a spirit uniquely representative of its coastal origin. Expect a whisky brimming with character, showcasing the signature Islay peat smoke balanced by sweet vanilla and fruit notes from the cask. Kilchoman maintains complete control over its production, from floor malting to bottling, ensuring a quality expression of Islay’s distilling spirit at 46% ABV.
