Laphroaig – Cairdeas (2016) Madeira Cask

Distilled on the rugged shores of Islay, this 2016 Laphroaig Cairdeas was a special release for the annual Feis Ile whisky festival. Matured initially in ex-bourbon barrels, it underwent a finishing period in sweet Madeira wine casks, imparting a unique dried fruit complexity to Laphroaig’s signature smoky character.
