Distilled in the Lowlands of Scotland, Littlemill 8 Year Old carries a history stretching back to 1817 – with whispers of production even earlier, in 1772. Unusually for a Lowland malt, Littlemill drew water from the springs of the Kilpatrick Hills, traditionally considered Highland territory, imparting a unique character to its spirit. This expression offers a delicate and approachable whisky, showcasing the distillery’s signature style before its unfortunate closure and dismantling in the early 2000s. Though the distillery is now silent, the remaining Littlemill 8 Year Old provides a taste of a bygone era of Scottish distilling.
