Distilled in the heart of Oban, a unique seaside and urban distillery, Young Teddy represents a continuation of a whisky-making tradition dating back to 1794. Originally a brewery established with the Duke of Argyll’s encouragement, Oban’s small size and deliberate, slow fermentation process contribute to its distinctive coastal character. This 2023 bottling, matured in a compelling combination of Oloroso and Palo Cortado sherry casks, offers a rich and complex flavour profile at 50.8% ABV. Limited to just 4542 bottles, Young Teddy embodies the spirit of a distillery intrinsically linked to the historic town of Oban.
