Born from the passion of the Thompson Brothers, who expanded from renowned whisky bar owners to distillers at Dornoch Castle Hotel, Ardnoch ‘The Amazing Ardnoch’ is a unique Highland blended malt. This 5-year-old expression skillfully marries spirit from the young Ardnamurchan distillery – distilled in 2016 – with whisky matured in an ex-Islay quarter cask at Dornoch in 2019. The result is a complex character offering a harmonious balance, hinting at coastal influence and the rich fruit notes typical of Highland malts. Bottled at 52.7% ABV, this limited release of only 450 bottles presents a captivating taste of Scotland’s emerging distilling talent.
