About this whisky
- Malt type: Blended
- Region: Scotland
Bottled in 1990 this whisky was made to commemorate the prestige award that the City of Glasgow received as the European City of Culture. The unique design of the decanter portrays famous buildings associated with Glasgow and its shape was taken from one of the King of Scots decanters sold mainly in the Far East through the 1970s and 1980s. This whisky presents a warm flavour with dominant smoked toffee and black pepper notes, hints of chocolate and wholemeal and a touch of wood smoke that adds a lingering finish to the taste.
