About this whisky
  • Cask type: Oak
  • Malt type: Pot Still
  • Region: Scotland
The French group La Martiniquaise which also owns the Glen Moray Distillery and the Starlaw grain distillery today established Glen Turner in 1981 to oversee its new whisky operations at the time. They had no idea what size they would eventually grow to become. The 12 year old Glen Turner is a pure malt (blended malt) with surprising complexity, the aromas of musty books, hay, vanilla, and honey are noted, and the palate is ginger, hay, vanilla and spice with a short finish of vanilla and ginger.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturaly: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from auctions, ballots, and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
