Glenfiddich is one of the single malt pioneers, being the first to market their single malt in 1963, And has since advanced, played and tweaked the art of bottling some of the best single malts out there. This expression is one of a three part decanter series of Scottish Royalty, Robert the Bruce, Mary Queen of Scots and Bonnie Prince Charlie. Robert the Bruce 1274 -1329 was the King of Scotland between 1306 - 1329 and was one of the most famous Scottish worriers to fight for Scotland's independence. Once opened the aroma of toasted oak meets your nose, followed by barley, lemon peel and pear, the palate is vanilla, malt, oak and grapes, with a short finish of hazelnut, oak and vanilla.
