Born in the tranquil ‘vale of tranquillity’ of Tain, Scotland, Glenmorangie Sonnalta PX showcases the distillery’s signature light and delicate spirit, achieved through the use of Scotland’s tallest stills. This exceptional single malt begins its journey maturing in American white oak, before a final two years are spent in carefully selected Spanish ex-Pedro Ximenez casks. This extra maturation imparts rich notes of dark fruits and sweetness, creating a complex and rewarding taste profile. Sonnalta PX represents the inaugural release in Glenmorangie’s prestigious ‘Private Edition’ series, a testament to the artistry of Dr Bill Lumsden and his team.
