Kilchoman Machir Bay Cask Strength Christmas Edition 2020

Kilchoman is a small, independent distillery located on the west coast of Islay, Scotland. Founded in 2005, it is one of the youngest distilleries on the island but has quickly established a reputation for producing high-quality single malt whiskies. Kilchoman's whiskies are known for their rich, peaty flavours and complex aromas, which are a result of the distillery's use of traditional production methods and locally sourced barley. This is a special Machir Bay expression for the Christmas holidays with the sheep on the table wearing Christmas hats, The aroma of citrus, grass and earth is first to greet your nose followed by smokey sea breeze and lacquer, and the palate is elderflower syrup, lemon grass, fruitcake, pepper and smoke, with a medium long finish of salt and smoke.
