By the 1860s, Rutherford's ventured into creating their own blended whiskies. Despite opting to cater primarily to the Scottish market, leading to limited success in local wholesale, the company has been widely recognized for its distinctive ceramic jugs and decanters, adorned with various illustrations. The blend, bottled by Rutherford & Co. (Whisky Merchants) Ltd. under the Ceramic Jug series, boasts a stated age of 12 years, a strength of 40.0% Vol., and is presented in a 700 ml bottle.
