This 10-year-old scotch is considered to be one of the great entry-level malts, which is ideal for beginners. That is not to undermine its quality. It has a sweet flavour with lots of fruit notes but also a touch of oak and spice to temper that. The Aberlour remains an inoffensive and relaxing whisky to enjoy.
