Distilled at the historic Ardbeg distillery – established in 1815 – this whisky presents a compelling balance of the distillery’s signature smoky character with notes of rich, dark fruit. The complex flavour profile is achieved through maturation in a unique combination of Pedro Ximenez, bourbon, and heavily charred virgin oak casks, unified in Ardbeg’s custom French Oak gathering vat. Expect a vibrant, oily mouthfeel alongside a harmonious interplay of tarry smoke and citric sweetness, bottled at 46.6% ABV.
