Born on the windswept shores of Islay, Ardbeg Auriverdes is a 2014 Feis Ile release showcasing the distillery’s renowned smoky character. This unique expression was matured in specially treated casks – their ends replaced with custom-toasted wood – designed to amplify rich coffee and mocha notes. Blended with classic Ardbeg matured in first and second-fill Bourbon barrels, it delivers the signature tarry smoke balanced by a citric sweetness and a distinctive oily texture. At 49.9% ABV, Auriverdes offers a complex and warming taste of Islay, subtly influenced by innovative cask experimentation.
