Benromach is located in the Speyside region of Scotland on the outskirts of the small town of Forres. Founded in 1898 but has since changed hands numerous times it is owned by Gordon & Macphail since 1993 and to this day. This expression was matured in Tokaji wine barrels, Tokaji is a Hungarian dessert wine, sweet and rich. Once opened the aromas of oak, Christmas cake, and damp cave meet your nose, the palate is of almonds, oak, grapes and cinnamon with a long finish of marzipan, pepper and oak.
