Originally built to be a self-sufficient island community, Bunnahabhain traditionally favors a lighter malt spirit, achieved through uniquely designed stills. This expression takes that spirit and imparts a rich sweetness and complexity through finishing in Bordeaux wine casks. The result is a full-bodied whisky bottled at 59.5% ABV, offering a compelling interplay of fruit, spice, and the subtle Islay influence.
