A special edition expression from The Famous Grouse, this 16 Year Old Double Matured blend brings together eight whiskies married and matured twice for exceptional depth. The blend is finished in a combination of first-fill Spanish sherry oak and first-fill American bourbon casks, yielding a rounded profile of poached pear, caramel and Victoria sponge on the nose, with sweet fruit, vanilla and warming notes of cinnamon and nutmeg on the palate. Bottled at 40% ABV in a generous 1 litre format, this is a rare full-size release of one of Scotland's most celebrated blends.
