Born from Yorkshire’s rich agricultural heritage, Filey Bay Single Malt represents the region’s first foray into whisky distilling, with plans originating in 2014 and the first spirit flowing in 2016. Crafted with 100% homegrown barley cultivated by a family with farming roots stretching back to 1945, this 3-year-old expression embodies a true ‘field to bottle’ philosophy. Matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, Filey Bay offers a characterful profile hinting at sweet fruit and subtle spice. Bottled at 46% ABV, it delivers a warming and approachable taste of Yorkshire’s unique terroir.
