This is a Single Malt exclusively bottled by The Whisky Exchange. Aged for three decades and matured in first-fill bourbon casks, this whisky stands tall with a strength of 51.7% ABV. On the nose, there’s an enticing fruitiness reminiscent of sweet Fuji apples and ripe pears, creating an aromatic prelude to what lies ahead. The palate unfolds gracefully, revealing soft orchard fruits complemented by warm spices and a subtle touch of oak. Even without prior knowledge, its character and depth could easily be mistaken for an ex-bourbon cask Speyside. The finish, consistent in its excellence, scores 89 points, leaving an impression that lingers.
