Ardbeg – 1975 Limited Edition 2000 is a single malt whisky from Ardbeg (Islay). Bottled at 43% ABV, 70cl. The distillery is owned by The Glenmorangie Company which is a subsidiary of Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy. There is another world acclaimed distillery under this umbrella…Ardbeg of course. Glenmorangie most famous characteristic is that it boasts the tallest stills in Scotland. Why is this important? Well at 8m tall and a neck of 5.13m these are the secret to producing an extremely light and delicate taste. You can't mention the distillery without having to pay tribute to the “The Sixteen Men of Tain”, who worked tirelessly, in the early years for the distillery to be such a success. Distilled at Ardbeg distillery in 1975, this limited edition was bottled in 2000 not long after the Glenmorangie takeover.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
