Ardbeg – Anthology 13 Year Old - The Harpy's Tale is a single malt whisky from Ardbeg (Islay). Aged 13 years, bottled at 46.00% ABV, 70cl. Matured in bourbon & sauternes casks.
Released in Autumn 2023, this is the first edition in the Anthology collection. Each release recalls a legendary tale from the Isle of Islay. Titled The Harpy's Tale, this 13-year-old malt has been aged in a combination of bourbon and ex-Sauternes wine casks.
A distillery located on the south coast of the Isle of Islay. It is currently part of the Scotch whisky holdings of LVMH. Despite being closed twice in the latter 20th century, the distillery's heavily-peated single malt has always been highly-regarded.
