Ardbeg – Hypernova is a single malt whisky from Ardbeg (Islay). Bottled at 51.00% ABV, 70cl. Released in 2022, this heavily-peated Ardbeg Hypernova was distilled from malted barley with a phenol level of 170ppm. A distillery located on the south coast of the Isle of Islay. It is currently part of the Scotch whisky holdings of LVMH. Despite being closed twice in the latter 20th century, the distillery's heavily-peated single malt has always been highly-regarded.
