Ardbeg – Rollercoaster (70cl, 57.3%)

Ardbeg – Rollercoaster is a single malt whisky from Ardbeg (Islay). Bottled at 57.3% ABV, 70cl. Rollercoaster was released in June 2010 to mark the 10th anniversary of the Ardbeg Committee. It consists of ten vintages from 1997 to 2006. They are: 1997 Cask: second-fill - 9.5% (of blend) 1998 Cask: refill hogshead - 12.2% 1999 Cask: first-fill barrel - 14.2% 2000 Cask: first-fill barrel - 10.9% 2001 Cask: refill barrel - 6.2% 2002 Cask: refill barrel - 8.9% 2003 Cask: first-fill barrel - 11.7% 2004 Cask: first-fill barrel - 10.6% 2005 Cask: second-fill sherry butt - 10.4% 2006 Cask: refill hogshead - 5.4% A distillery located on the south coast of the Isle of Islay. It is currently part of the Scotch whisky holdings of LVMH. Despite being closed twice in the latter 20th century, the distillery's heavily-peated single malt has always been highly-regarded.
