Ardbeg – Scorch (70cl, 51.7%)

Ardbeg – Scorch is a single malt whisky from Ardbeg (Islay). Bottled at 51.7% ABV, 70cl. Matured in heavily charred bourbon casks. Released in April 2021, Ardbeg Scorch was matured in the most heavily-charred ex-bourbon casks that the distillery had ever used to that date. A distillery located on the south coast of the Isle of Islay. It is currently part of the Scotch whisky holdings of LVMH. Despite being closed twice in the latter 20th century, the distillery's heavily-peated single malt has always been highly-regarded.
