Ardbeg – Supernova Stellar Release (70cl, 58.9%)

Ardbeg – Supernova Stellar Release is a single malt whisky from Ardbeg (Islay). Bottled at 58.9% ABV, 70cl. Following the incredibly popular Ardbeg Committee release of Supernova, this general release sold out quickly as well. Ardbeg Supernova was the peatiest Ardbeg bottled to date at 100ppm, and an approximate 18,000 bottles were released in January 2009. A distillery located on the south coast of the Isle of Islay. It is currently part of the Scotch whisky holdings of LVMH. Despite being closed twice in the latter 20th century, the distillery's heavily-peated single malt has always been highly-regarded.
