Ardnahoe – 5 Year Old - Inaugural Release is a single malt whisky from Ardnahoe (Islay). Aged 5 years, bottled at 50% ABV, 70cl.
This is the first release from Ardnahoe Distillery, the first distillery to be built on Islay in over a decade. Built by Stewart Laing and his sons Andrew and Scott, founders of Glasgow-based blender and bottler Hunter Laing & Co.
Matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks, this Inaugural Release has been bottled at 50% ABV, without artificial colouring or chill-filtration.
