Coming from an old and highly regarded Speyside distillery Balmenach 12 Year Old is a superb single malt. The nose is highly aromatic – nutty and flowery with smoky undertones. Dry fruit and vanilla are the most prominent in taste with sherry notes and a long, herbal finish.
