The Singleton is an umbrella brand for the Diageo group, depending on where you are in the world you could find a different Singleton, for instance in Asia the Singleton is a Glen Ord and in Europe, the Singleton is a Dufftown. The Singleton of Auchroisk is now discontinued and this is a vintage 1983 Auchroisk with no age statement. A very pungent Caramel smell when opening this bottle followed by milk chocolate, honey, apricots and oak, the palate is slightly soapy, raisins, and chestnuts with a short finish of mint chocolate, caramel and oak.
