Balvenie – DoubleWood 12 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Balvenie (Speyside). Aged 12 years, bottled at 40.00% ABV, 20cl. Matured in traditional oak & sherry casks.
Launched in 1993, this is the famous 12-year-old Balvenie DoubleWood which is matured initially in traditional oak casks before being re-racked into sherry wood for a final finishing period.
A highly-regarded malt distillery in Speyside and the second built by William Grant & Sons. The distillery is still owned by the company today its brand has been nurtured to become one of the most recognisable and sought-after single malts in the world.
