Bowmore – 12 Year Old Litre (100cl, 43.00%)

Bowmore – 12 Year Old Litre is a single malt whisky from Bowmore (Islay). Aged 12 years, bottled at 43.00% ABV, 100cl. These famous screen-print bottlings were introduced in 1988 following the rebranding of the Stanley P. Morrison company as Morrison Bowmore Distillers, and the revamping of their distillery core ranges as a result. This classic 12-year-old was joined at the time by the first appearance of the Bowmore 10-year-old, with the Mariner, Cask Strength and 17-year-old added too. Interestingly, screen-print bottlings in the same aesthetic were designed for Glen Garioch and Authentoshan too, but were never put into production. The oldest operational distillery on the isle of Islay, built in 1779. Today it is part of the Suntory Group, having been acquired by the Japanese company in 1994. Under their ownership is has been nurtured into one of the most collectable names in Scotch whisky.
