Bowmore – 1963 30th Anniversary is a single malt whisky from Bowmore (Islay). Aged 30 years, bottled at 50.00% ABV, 70cl. This was distilled in the first year of Stanley P. Morrison's ownership of the distillery and was bottled to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his purchase of it. The oldest operational distillery on the isle of Islay, built in 1779. Today it is part of the Suntory Group, having been acquired by the Japanese company in 1994. Under their ownership is has been nurtured into one of the most collectable names in Scotch whisky.
