Bowmore – 1964 Black Bowmore 50 Year Old The Last Cask is a single malt whisky from Bowmore (Islay). Aged 50 years, bottled at 41% ABV, 70cl. Matured in 2 x oloroso sherry casks.
The oldest operational distillery on the isle of Islay, built in 1779. Today it is part of the Suntory Group, having been acquired by the Japanese company in 1994. Under their ownership is has been nurtured into one of the most collectable names in Scotch whisky.
