Bowmore – 1964 Gold Bowmore 44 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Bowmore (Islay). Aged 44 years, bottled at 42.4% ABV, 70cl. Matured in bourbon & oloroso sherry casks.
The oldest operational distillery on the isle of Islay, built in 1779. Today it is part of the Suntory Group, having been acquired by the Japanese company in 1994. Under their ownership is has been nurtured into one of the most collectable names in Scotch whisky.
