Bowmore – 1989 Port Cask Matured 23 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Bowmore (Islay). Aged 23 years, bottled at 50.8% ABV, 70cl. Matured in port casks.
The oldest operational distillery on the isle of Islay, built in 1779. Today it is part of the Suntory Group, having been acquired by the Japanese company in 1994. Under their ownership is has been nurtured into one of the most collectable names in Scotch whisky.
