Bowmore – 1991 Port Matured 16 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Bowmore (Islay). Aged 16 years, bottled at 53.1% ABV, 70cl. Matured in port pipes.
The oldest operational distillery on the isle of Islay, built in 1779. Today it is part of the Suntory Group, having been acquired by the Japanese company in 1994. Under their ownership is has been nurtured into one of the most collectable names in Scotch whisky.
