Bowmore – Timeless Series 29 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Bowmore (Islay). Aged 29 years, bottled at 53.70% ABV, 70cl. Matured in bourbon & sherry casks.
Released in late 2023, this instalment of the Bowmore Timeless Series is a vatting of sherry-seasoned European oak casks and American oak bourbon casks filled in 1991 and 1992.
The oldest operational distillery on the isle of Islay, built in 1779. Today it is part of the Suntory Group, having been acquired by the Japanese company in 1994. Under their ownership is has been nurtured into one of the most collectable names in Scotch whisky.
