Bowmore – Vault Edition - First Release is a single malt whisky from Bowmore (Islay). Bottled at 51.5% ABV, 70cl. Matured in bourbon casks.
Titled "Atlantic Sea Salt," this is the first release of the Bowmore Vault Edition range, launched in 2016. The series explores four of the characteristics imparted in their whisky from their legendary No.1 Vaults warehouse on Islay.
The oldest operational distillery on the isle of Islay, built in 1779. Today it is part of the Suntory Group, having been acquired by the Japanese company in 1994. Under their ownership is has been nurtured into one of the most collectable names in Scotch whisky.
