Bowmore – White Sands 17 Year Old (70cl, 43%)

Bowmore – White Sands 17 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Bowmore (Islay). Aged 17 years, bottled at 43% ABV, 70cl. This was one of three Bowmore travel retail exclusives launched in 2014, alongside Black Rock and Gold Reef. This was a direct replacement for the long-serving Bowmore 17-year-old, which had been a travel retail exclusive since 2007. All three of the releases in this series were discontinued alongside Springtide in an overhaul of the entire Bowmore range in 2017. The oldest operational distillery on the isle of Islay, built in 1779. Today it is part of the Suntory Group, having been acquired by the Japanese company in 1994. Under their ownership is has been nurtured into one of the most collectable names in Scotch whisky.
