Bruichladdich – 1998 Sherry Edition - Oloroso is a single malt whisky from Bruichladdich (Islay). Aged 10 years, bottled at 46.00% ABV, 70cl. Matured in oloroso sherry casks.
This was one of the first releases (alongside the Manzanilla edition) from Bruichladdich's compare and contrast experiments.
A single malt distillery on the isle of Islay, currently part of the whisky holdings of French company, Rémy Cointreau. The distillery's flagship brand of single malt is a non-peated style, however it also produces peated variants called Port Charlotte and Octomore, as well as The Botanist gin.
