Bruichladdich – Old Skool 10 Year Old (70cl, 50.00%)

Bruichladdich – Old Skool 10 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Bruichladdich (Islay). Aged 10 years, bottled at 50.00% ABV, 70cl. Matured in bourbon & Sauternes casks. A limited release produced to mark the 25th anniversary of the re-opening of Bruichalddich distillery. A nod to the local Islay farms, this was produced entirely from local barley from 14 farms, and matured in bourbon casks and a small quantity of first-fill Sauternes casks. The label pays homage to the distillery bottlings produced under Whyte & Mackay ownership in the 1980s. A single malt distillery on the isle of Islay, currently part of the whisky holdings of French company, Rémy Cointreau. The distillery's flagship brand of single malt is a non-peated style, however it also produces peated variants called Port Charlotte and Octomore, as well as The Botanist gin.
