Bruichladdich – Yellow Submarine [Reclassified] 14 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Bruichladdich (Islay). Aged 14 years, bottled at 54.20% ABV, 70cl. Matured in first-fill bourbon & French red wine casks finish. One of a number of limited edition bottlings produced to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the distillery's reopening. Yellow Submarine Reclassified pays homage to the original series of yellow submarine bottlings, released to commemorate the discovery of a small yellow submarine on Islay which apparently belonged to the Ministry of Defence. A single malt distillery on the isle of Islay, currently part of the whisky holdings of French company, Rémy Cointreau. The distillery's flagship brand of single malt is a non-peated style, however it also produces peated variants called Port Charlotte and Octomore, as well as The Botanist gin.
