Bunnahabhain – Sgeul Na Mara - Limited Edition is a single malt whisky from Bunnahabhain (Islay). Bottled at 60.1% ABV, 70cl.
Bunnahabhain distillery was established in 1881 on the north-eastern shore of Islay, overlooking the Sound of Islay. It is one of the island's most remote distilleries, traditionally known for producing an unpeated, maritime style of single malt. The distillery is owned by Distell.
Sgeul Na Mara — Gaelic for 'Tale of the Sea' — is a limited edition single cask release from the Bunnahabhain Distillery Company, bottled on 19th March 2013. According to the back label, the whisky was filled into sherry butt No.79 on 20th February 2003. Bottled at natural colour and un-chillfiltered at cask strength of 60.1% ABV, this expression was one of only 606 bottles released.
