Calvados Pays D’Auge Petit Chenin Brun Little Brown Dog 50cl is a calvados. Aged 14 years, bottled at 53.5% ABV, 50cl. Little Brown Dog Spirits – also known as ‘LBD’, was formed in 2013. Based in rural Aberdeenshire, Scotland, LBD is an experimental MicroDistillery. MicroDistillers generally experiment with different techniques in order to manufacture new flavours and produce this handcrafted alcohol in smaller quantities. The name originates from owner Andrew’s nickname for his dog who travels with him to tastings and distilleries. LBD produces different types of alcohols such as brandy’s, gins and whilst mainly specialising in whiskies. These have been given different unique names such as Petit Chien Brun for the Calvados/Brandy, Li’l Brown Dawg for the Indiana Rye Whiskey and Wee Mongrel for their blended whisky.
