Caol Ila – 35 Year Old 1982 - Limited Release is a single malt whisky from Caol Ila (Islay). Aged 35 years, bottled at 58.1% ABV, 70cl. Caol Ila distillery sits on the north-east coast of Islay, overlooking the Sound of Islay towards Jura. Founded in 1846 and now part of Diageo, it is one of the island's largest and most important producers of peated single malt. Distilled in 1982 and bottled as part of Diageo's Special Releases programme, this expression was matured for 35 years before being bottled at natural cask strength of 58.1% ABV. It is presented without chill-filtration as a Limited Release, with an outturn of 3,276 bottles.
