Chichibu – 2012 Ichiro's Malt The Peated 2016 is a single malt whisky from Chichibu (Japan). Bottled at 54.50% ABV, 70cl. Distilled in 2012, this is the 2016 edition of The Peated. It was produced from heavily-peated malt. A single malt whisky distillery in Japan, located within the city of the same name in the Saitama Prefecture. It was established in 2008 by Ichiro Akuto and significantly expanded in 2019 with the opening of a second distillery called Chichibu 2.
